Sacred Invitation with Luis Sanz: Virtuous Cuatro Player, Award-Winning Composer, Co-founder of the Banda Hermanos Sanz, Director of the Music Department at Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, and one of the most influential names in contemporary Puerto Rican music. His exceptional talent for improvisation and creative development has led him to compose works for the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra and to collaborate with prominent artists such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Residente, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny, and Kany Garcia, among many others. For the first time, he shares his sacred story, his creative journey, his artistic vision, and his mission to leave a legacy for new generations. He recounts the moment he discovered and found his gift for music. Sanz shares the first time he played the instrument at the age of four and how it became an essential part of his identity, as well as the sacrifices he made during his training as a musician and composer. Through this intimate and profound interview, Luis inspires us and highlights the influence of his education and teachers on his musical career.
